ResQ is an AI safety management platform designed for manufacturers and high-risk businesses. The system collects and analyzes real-time data from wearable and environmental sensors to monitor safety conditions, detect incidents, and support immediate realtime response.

Design tasks which I had and completed::

Designed core UX for the Web and Mobile safety management apps, focusing on clarity, responsiveness, and cross-platform consistency

Reviewed, tracked, and quality-controlled all deliverables — from UI assets to brand visuals - and provided art direction across the entire product scope

Coordinated with a printing center using VarioPrint technology to produce branded business cards and print materials

Presented the ResQ platform to over 100 international clients at the BIG5 exhibition in Dubai, showcasing product vision and UI flows

Managed client communication across multiple channels — CRM, WhatsApp, Telegram, and email — maintaining personal dialogue with 63+ clients

Participated in the promotional video as an actor (played a doctor), supporting brand storytelling and visual engagement

Project note from Ilya

ResQ challenged me to bring clarity and speed to a product where lives may depend on UX. From handling real-time emergencies to syncing with sensor data, every design decision carried weight. Building the system from the ground up in tight time - then seeing it presented on a global stage - made this one of the most intense and rewarding projects of my career

Operator desktop app

This platform must allow safety managers to:
• Track and review individual and group safety metrics
• Analyze historical trends to prevent future incidents
• Configure alert rules and escalation protocols
• Log and resolve incidents with detailed case handling
• Generate reports for compliance, audits, and internal reviews

The system must support real-time visibility, role-based access, and secure data handling across web, desktop, and mobile interfaces.

The core purpose of the ResQ platform is to monitor worker conditions, promote a culture of safety, and enable fast, informed response in emergency situations.

The system must collect and process real-time data from wearable and environmental sensors to detect potential risks such as fatigue, hazardous gas exposure, abnormal temperatures, or inactivity.

A key requirement is the development of a desktop-based admin panel built around historical and real-time data.

Worker mobile app

Once a request is triggered, the system must:
• Instantly alert the operator with the worker’s location, condition, and risk type
• Enable the operator to assign assistance from nearby responders
• Provide status updates back to the affected worker
• Automatically log the incident for future review
• Have automatic protocol for cases when worker cannot communicate

The interface should prioritize speed, clarity, and reliability, with offline fallback behavior and tactile UI patterns for use in high-stress or low-visibility environments. Security, data integrity, and seamless sync with the desktop system are essential.

The primary purpose of the mobile worker app is to enable quick and seamless emergency communication.

In critical situations, a worker must be able to instantly send a help request to an operator with minimal interaction or “worker lost mind” protocol must be activated.

The app is directly connected to the operator’s dashboard and other authorized mobile devices, allowing real-time coordination.

I led the design of the ResQ website, a safety management system, overseeing the entire design process from concept to final implementation. I worked closely with the designer, guiding and supervising their work, offering feedback, and ensuring the design met both the user needs and business goals.

ResQ branding

The ResQ brandbook was developed based on thorough competitive analysis and detailed client persona research. As part of the branding process, we created the naming, motto, and a clear core positioning statement that reflects the product’s values and promise.

I contributed to the design of the logotype, printed materials, and a range of presentation assets tailored for various use cases — including a key showcase at the BIG 5 exhibition in Dubai. For this event, we also designed a custom ResQ exhibition stand, ensuring consistent visual identity and impactful presence in a competitive tech environment.

Exhibition stand at BIG5

For the Big 5 Exhibition in Dubai (2020), I supervised designing the full visual concept for the ResQ stand. The goal was to create a professional, attention-grabbing presence that clearly communicated the product’s value to an international industrial audience.

We designed branded banners, promo video, plush toy (for demo), stand structure visuals, printed materials, vario business cards, and digital screens, aligning them with the product’s safety-focused mission. The visuals highlighted wearable technology, real-time monitoring, and emergency response features - delivering a strong message of innovation and reliability. The stand attracted key interest from potential partners and positioned ResQ as a serious player in the industrial safety space.

Key results

In just 4 months, I led the end-to-end design of ResQ - I built the core UX foundation, then assembled and mentored a design team to deliver the full product suite: operator and worker apps, brand identity, website, print, promo videos, and exhibition assets. The project culminated with me pitching ResQ at the BIG5 exhibition in Dubai to over 100 international clients.
